Step 1: Sanding

Scratch Refinement
For fresh and cured clear coats use a spray bottle, apply enough water to dampen the 3M™ Trizact™ abrasive. Sand damp with DA until grade P1500 sand scratches are removed. Surface should appear semi- polished.

Note: When sanding contours, use interface pad.

Machine Glazing
To remove 3M™ Trizact™ sand scratches (Grade 3000) and swirl marks Apply medium pressure.

To polish:
Apply light pressure. Suggested buffer speed: 1800 RPMs.

Step 3: Machine Glazing

Paint Protection
Apply finishing glaze and make one pass with DA. Do one panel at a time.

  • 3M™ Perfect-It™ III Finishing Glaze
  • Wipe clean immediately with 3M™ Perfect-It™ Perfect-It™ III Detailing Cloths, 3M-06016

Step 4: Paint Protection

For safety always wear goggles and face shield when grinding or sanding.
