Dagger Tipping Wheel Set is a two piece tipping wheel set that turns an edge in a panel. The tipping set works very similar to a beading die that enables you to stretch a small surface and allows the surface to turn up to 90 degrees after passing several times at slightly greater pressure settings. This tool comes in handy when a power machine method is not available. The tipping wheel set also sets lipped angled edges for lipping panels together. It follows a fusion welding technique (without filler rod) with either Oxy/Act torch or Tig torch.
With a diameter of 2 1/2" and a .50 radius working edge, the tipping wheel has back tapper surface that allows sheet clearance. This set comes with a .866 t.005 ID bore with a twin set screw lock that fits most bead rollers shafts. The bottom wheel is made of 2" x 2" steel with .866 t.005 bore ID. The top and bottom of the wheel set are heat treated to 30/34 Rockwell C for wear resistance. The set comes with instructions. This tool is a must-have for the reproduction of any curved metal shaping restoration work.
