I decided on the EFI and tried to install the 40 gal tank, crap wouldn't fit. So I checked and found someone who had done this with a short bed, mine's a long bed. and of course I over thought this to hell. It took me, Once I got started, 45min to do it. here it is,
First I welded a piece of angle iron to keep it square as I was advised from another forum.

Then I used a 4" grinder with a cut off wheel to trim down the cold rivets, and finished removing them with my air hammer and a flat chisel bit.

Then I inverted the bracket centered it and drilled the upper holes installed the bracket and used a long bit drilled the bottom holes.

Done

Tomorrow I'll install the tank and remove the left tank
Also Here's the test stand I made for my Small block Chevy engines. Ya I know it's messy but it works and it's not done. This is the engine for my one ton work truck I pulled it back out of my 77 GMC, now that the price of gas is back down. (The leak is the front pan seal, easier to fix and diagnose this way.) I got a 305 with a 700r4 and installed it to help with lay out and so I can move it, you know how some city's are.

Now if I can just get the truck in my shop!!!
