The Kirker Ultra H/S 4:1 Clear provides the ultimate finish and appearance for your automobiles. While it provides ultimate glow and leveling, it also helps in giving your vehicles the desired glossy finish. Ultra is a high-solids acrylic urethane system that provides professional restoration and refinishes.

How does a clearcoat help?

  • It is recommended to clearcoat a vehicle to give it a professional glossy and shiny finish
  • A clearcoat helps in protecting your vehicle from fading caused by the sun and the ultraviolet rays
  • Many auto body shop professionals feel that applying a clearcoat to your vehicle makes repair and maintenance works easier
  • Clearcoats also help in buffing out shallow defects on the surface without causing any harm to the actual paint

Key Features of the Kirker Ultra H/S 4:1 Clear:

  • The fast-drying clearcoat provides exceptional flow and leveling and is easy to use
  • Yields a beautifully deep gloss
  • Resists shrinkage and dieback
  • The new resin system helps in easy buffing, even days after application
  • May be used in air dry or bake cycle environments in combination with Kirker’s ULTRA-GLO single-stage urethane or ACRYL-GLO acrylic enamel color system; or with other manufacturer’s basecoats
  • Made in the USA

Tried EC300 for the first time a year ago to spray the hood of my personal truck. Always best to try something under a $100.00 on your own daily driver before on a customers car, sprayed pretty tough at first. Once you get the hang of how thick it really is the clear lays down like glass. Don't buff for a couple days after. tried it a day later and ripped it apart. Round two I had the clear laying great. Bought it again a week ago and got the reducer this time to avoid such high spraying pressures. Also my hood is holding up and looking like the day I sprayed it, no heavy shrink back or fading.

I like this clear. It sprays thick but use the slow reducer if you want it to lay down smooth. I used EuroClear last time and I think it sprays a bit better but still this is a good clear.

I was using PPG concept but it got too expensive. I tried Kirker Ultra and I like it better than any I have ever used. Lays down like glass.

Very impressed for the price. Very comparable to some of the $4500 a gallon clear coats I use. Very thick and goes a long way. The fast hardener is fast. Almost dry to the touch by time you walk around the car. Recommend a medium reducer 70 degrees with a slow reducer for best flow. Though the fast with a slow reducer would be best if your not working in a booth. drys so fast dust doesnt have time to stick to it. You can mist reducer over the dry patches for a nice gloss.. Leveling is also amazing! No need to buff it. it will run but it is hard to run. Very tempting to push it because it doesnt seem like it will.lol Also easy to cut and buff.. Not sure how good the UV protection is or how long this will last. However so far very impressed and ive been painting 30 years
