Get that perfect refinish on the overall body of your automobile with the Finish 1 Ultimate Overall Clearcoat - FC720. Being a high-solids urethane clearcoat, this refinishing expert could help make overall repair jobs much easier. With a 4.29 VOC, this clearcoat has been tested to work effectively in varied environments, be it air dry or force dry. What you get is good leveling, blending and buffing results, apart from a noticeable sheen.

With wonderful glossy finish and superior flow characteristics, this clearcoat resists spoilage from chemical spills or weathering. Made in the USA, this industry grade clearcoat mixes with a hardener in a simple ratio of 4:1 for application over basecoats or cured single-stage enamels. This overall automobile clearcoat is easy to apply and equally effortless to polish. Allowing versatile application from two panels to overall vehicle body refinish, this clearcoat works well in automobile refinishing applications.

Wondering how to use this overall clearcoat for your vehicle jobs? Here’s a lowdown on the simple process. Prepare the surface you want to apply clearcoat on by washing it thoroughly with a mild detergent and hot water. Rinse it well with a clean and dry cloth. If you intend to use a solvent cleaner to remove grease, you must wipe dry with a dry cloth. After mixing with the hardener in the proportion indicated above, stir thoroughly and strain the mix. Put two coats by maintaining a gap of 2 to 5 minutes between coats. HVLP air pressure of 8-10 psi and conventional pressure of 50-60 psi is essential for perfect application and finish. Allow single stage enamels to air dry at 70 degrees F and it may take up to 8 hours. When forced to dry at 120 degrees F, it will take 30 minutes. If you need to buff the surface, then you can sand it with 1500 or finer grit paper within 24-48 hours of the clearcoat application.

Accomplish overall refinishing tasks in quick time and get that neat, leveled finish with the Finish 1 Ultimate Overall Clearcoat - FC720; you will not want to look any further.

Absolute BEST clearcoat I have ever worked with. I use it for all of my automotive airbrushing projects. After wet-sanding and polishing, it has a crisp clarity and an extremely deep shine. Recommended with the slow hardener to let the clear flow better.
