CENTERLINE GAUGE
SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS

TIPS FOR USING CENTERING GAUGES
Chains must hang at an angle of 35 degrees or less in relation to the bars.

Calibrated chains are color coded every ten beads for easy adjustment. The bar must be suspended at exactly the same length on each side.
Hooks may be attached at jigholes in frame, body floor or sill panels. On unitized bodies you may want to use the junction between the sill panel and floor stiffeners to attach the gauges.

SUGGESTED GAUGE PLACEMENT

*In most cases only 3 gauges will be necessary. You may want to use 4 in a hard side collision.
Gauges may be left in place while repairs are being made so the frame can be checked at any  time while the technician is making the necessary corrections.
