Duramix NVH Dampening Material is a flexible adhesive-type material used to reduce noise and vibration between panels where a long work time is required.

• Ideal 2-part urethane product for replacing factory NVH (Noise, Vibration & Harshness) sealants and foams.
• Can be applied between roof skins and roof bows, door skins and door intrusion beams or other areas using non-structural type foam materials, providing up to 1" thick layer of flexible material on vertical and overhead applications
• Can be applied to a thickness of 1 inch on vertical and overhead surfaces.
• Also may be applied over existing damping material as long as the original material is still integrally bonded.
• Remains very soft, yet sturdy and will not degrade.
• Work time: 60 Minutes @ 77° F
• Cure time: 24 Hours @ 77° F
• 200 mL cartridge.

1. Where applicable clean areas with 3M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner (08984, 08987).
2. Dry fit replacement panel to ensure proper fit up prior to applying Duramix NVH Dampening Material.
3. Prepare the Duramix cartridge by removing the collar and plug from the cartridge. Insert the cartridge into the 3M dispenser (08571, 08117, or 09930) and extrude a small amount of adhesive, be sure that both parts of the adhesive are extruded prior to attaching the mixing nozzle. Attach 08193 mixing nozzle and extrude a small amount of adhesive through the nozzle.
4. Apply to all areas where the original factory installed dampening material existed and other appropriate areas.
5. Use 3M Panel Bonding Adhesive where applicable and recommended procedure to attach replacement panel.
